CANVAS ART & DRAMA FESTIVAL 2025: Your Invitation to Tamale’s Night of Collective Magic

Let’s be honest sometimes, you just need a night that feels different. A night that isn’t about scrolling, or the usual routine, but about feeling truly alive, connected, and inspired. A night that reminds you of the raw, beautiful talent simmering right here in our city.

That night is Saturday, 20th December 2025.

Mark it in your calendar. Clear your evening. Because the first-of-its-kind Canvas Art and Drama Festival is landing at the Radach Lodge and Conference Centre, and it’s crafted to be the cultural heartbeat of our December.

This isn’t just a lineup; it’s a curated journey of emotion. We’re weaving everything into one electrifying event:

  • Feel the rhythm with Digoo the Dancer.
  • Hear your own thoughts echoed in the powerful verses of Nassam the Poet and Versifier Jawad.
  • Laugh until your sides ache with live comedy.
  • Get lost in stunning art exhibitions.
  • Be moved by the harmonies of Prof Achina and Omo Blue and the vibrant energy of the Sabo Ladies.

But the crown jewels? Two powerful stage plays that will grip your heart.

First, get ready for side-splitting recognition in Gospel Wahala by Christine Ada. This isn’t just comedy; it’s a hilarious, sharp-eyed look at the schemers and the dreamers in a world of faith and false promises. You’ll laugh, you’ll nod, you’ll see a bit of everyone you know.

Then, as the night deepens, the mood transforms with Deadbeat by Lawyer Kofi Akuamoah. This is a thrilling, gripping story of a farmer’s ultimate love and desperation. What is a person willing to do to protect their family? This play doesn’t just ask the question it makes you feel the answer in your bones.

This is Your Community, Amplified.

This festival is born from a simple, powerful idea: that Tamale’s creative spirit deserves a grand, unified stage. It’s a celebration of us, our stories, our laughter, our struggles, and our incredible talent. It’s the night you point to later and say, “I was there when…”

The doors open at 7 PM sharp. The rate for this full-night experience is GHS 70 less than a dinner out, but offering so much more: the priceless feeling of being part of something new and groundbreaking.

Your ticket is your passport to a feeling. Secure it now.

  • Shortcut: Simply dial *713*33*017# on your phone.
  • Need help? Call 0553314471 or 0249727617.

Don’t just plan to attend. Plan to be part of it. Let’s fill the Radach Lodge with our energy, our applause, and our shared pride.
