Meet the Esteemed Panelists for the Northern Ghana Foto Festival!

This year’s conversation will dive deep into how photography and storytelling can preserve our culture, history, and sense of community. The panel features a remarkable lineup of academic scholars and visual culture experts who each bring unique perspectives on heritage and imagery:

The Northern Ghana FOTO FESTIVAL brings together minds and lenses that celebrate the beauty, resilience, and identity of Ghana’s North.

These distinguished figures will share their experiences and insights on how visual storytelling continues to shape our understanding of people, place, and identity.

Happening from November 16th to 21st, 2025, at the Tamale Cultural Centre, the festival promises an exciting week filled with vibrant exhibitions, thought-provoking panels, creative summits, and immersive VR experiences.

Held under the theme “Northern Narratives – People and Place,” this year’s event invites students, scholars, and artists to come together to celebrate the spirit, creativity, and enduring heritage of Northern Ghana — and the stories that connect us all.
