In the early days of the New Year, compassion took center stage on the streets of Tamale as Lavish Aid Foundation, in collaboration with Wewura Aid Foundation, successfully organized the Feed the Streets 2026 edition, an outreach rooted in love, dignity, and shared humanity.
The initiative received generous support from Better DREAM Foundation GH, Basha1 Foundation, Peeva Beverages, Twillium Company, Nite Fast Food, Dels Cuisine, GloryHill Foundation, Bennita International School, Beebz Print, Gaida-Com Group, and Oak-Hills Educational Complex, demonstrating the power of collective action when organizations come together for a common good.

Over 30 dedicated volunteers turned up with warm hearts and willing hands, transforming the streets of Tamale into spaces of hope and connection. With smiles exchanged and conversations shared, the team distributed an estimated 500 hot meals to children and needy families reminding them, in the simplest yet most powerful way, that they matter.

Beyond the meals, the outreach delivered something even more enduring: reassurance. It was not just an act of charity, but a heartfelt reminder that no one is truly alone. The most touching moments were found in the genuine smiles, heartfelt prayers, and sincere blessings offered by those served moments that humbled every volunteer present.

Feed the Streets 2026 was a testament to how small acts of kindness can restore hope, uplift spirits, and strengthen communities one meal, one smile, and one shared moment at a time.
