Yadah International School over the weekend celebrated a significant milestone as its graduating pupils officially moved on to Basic One during a colourful Graduation Speech and Prize-Giving Ceremony held in Tamale.
The celebrations began on 30th July with a warm and elegant Graduants’ Dinner Party at Nim Avenue Hotel, where graduating pupils, parents, teachers, and invited guests gathered to celebrate the children’s achievements in a joyful atmosphere.
The grand finale took place on 1st August at the Health Services Workers’ Union Hall in Tamale, Northern Ghana, bringing together families, educators, community leaders, and well-wishers for a vibrant durbar filled with inspiration, entertainment, and recognition.
This year’s celebration was held under the theme, “Raising Excellent Minds: A Shared Responsibility of School and Home,” highlighting the vital partnership between parents and teachers in shaping the future of every child.
Delivering one of the keynote speeches, former Northern Regional Minister Alhaji Shani Alhassan Saibu encouraged parents and educators to strengthen their collaboration in nurturing children who are morally upright, responsible, and capable of making a positive impact in society. He stressed that quality education goes beyond academic excellence and requires a strong foundation of discipline, values, and shared commitment between the home and the school.
The ceremony also showcased the remarkable talents of the young pupils through inspiring speeches, captivating cultural performances, drama presentations, and other creative displays that delighted the audience and reflected the confidence and potential of the learners.
In recognition of outstanding commitment and excellence, exceptional pupils and dedicated members of staff were honoured with certificates and plaques for their hard work, perseverance, and contributions to the school’s success.
